First we biked - here in the town of Penn Yan, we paid tribute to this noble achievment.

We rode down a trail that follows the Keuka Lake Outlet, which flows down to Seneca Lake.  Here we saw an abandoned industrial site.

Part three of the triathlon was canoeing in Keuka - thanks to a kindhearted local who loaned us the boat.
 
 

We ended up paddling right past a nest of baby birds.
 
 

Beyond the wetlands, we paddled right into town, then back out around the lake.
