The hiking site badly needs a new leader

I created this hiking site as a Cornell grad student several years ago.  It was a long and cold winter, and I just kept dreaming of spring and the area's many trails, and this page grew out of those daydreams.  My main goal was for Ithaca's many short-term residents (students, postdocs, etc.) to be able to tap into the rich outdoor offerings of the area, without having the detailed local knowledge that takes years to accrue.

About 5 years ago I reluctantly moved on from Ithaca, but by then the Cornell Cooperative Extension had agreed to host this webpage.  Just recently, I decided to check in on the hiking page and found it gone from the CCE webpage.  So I resurrected the old site, and here you are.

The problem is - I don't live in Ithaca anymore, and many of the old links that still appear on this site are now dead.  What this page needs is an energetic and somewhat web-savvy person to volunteer to maintain, update, and improve this page's content.  I'd be quite happy to have it hosted elsewhere as well.

Are you up for the challenge?  Ithaca's outdoor enthusiasts would surely thank you!  If you're interested, drop me a line at:  jep1978 at gmail dot com
