Almost like summer
A couple weeks ago we dodged
Denmark's summer rainshowers long enough to see the beach at
Tisvildeleje, on the north coast of Zealand.
Of course it wasn't actually warm
enough to go swimming, but a quick wade was bearable.
Our friend Erin, who Amanda
went to college with, was visiting from Washington DC.
Back behind the nice long
stretch of undeveloped beach, there is a "Witch's Woods" of twisted
trees.
Back in Copenhagen now -
Amanda has been spending time at the library of the agriculture school
(which has nice landscape gardens), reading and dreaming about organic
farming.
