Trip
to a sunny island
We had some nice weather
last weekend and decided to visit Amager, an island southeast of
downtown Copenhagen that has a large marshy park. The picture
above is from our previous attempt at biking there. We had
escaped a downpour by ducking into a birdwatching blind.

This time the clouds stayed
away, so we got a nice dose of sunlight. Yes, the (week-) long
winter had come to an end. Near where we entered the park, there
were art installations using natural materials, including this ship
made of planks and logs - and on the inside, a pile of boulders with a
spiraling path to the top.
Nearby, inside a maze of
scorched tree trunks, was this little hut made of woven branches.

We weren't the only ones enjoying the trails.
